Seth “Yuusuf”
“Yuusuf” is the founder and owner of Desert Alive. He and his wife Emily have 5 children. They’ve lived in Somaliland since January 2009 and have a heart to see people and lands flourishing.
Mohammed
Mohammed has been instrumental in refining and carrying forward the vision of Desert Alive. As we restore the land, Mohammed has a passion to see jobs created and people equipped.
Josh
Josh is a Project Manager, he manages our finance and accounting compliance, marketing and growth. He hopes to launch our honey production. He’s passionate about community and about bringing growth and positive change through the work of Desert Alive.
Jonathan
Jonathan helps oversee grazing management and is excited to use his background in permaculture to help improve our farms and restore lands. He and his wife Susanna have 1 child.
